Yellow and Orange Window Box Flowers

A window box full of yellow and orange blooms colored with #Tombowmarkers.  A Penny Black stamp that is embossed image brings shine to the image.  Ranger stencils complete the background, torn edge accent color paper and twine and accent word tag.  Change the colors and this would work for any season or occasion.

A Bouquet of Blooms!

Another color challenge from #alwaysplayingwithpaperblog.   Green, orange and yellow is the current challenge.  I used a new Penny Black stamp that I painted with Ranger distress ink and accented with lightly inked stencils. A border stamp, scalloped punched edge, a twine accent bow and coordinating patterned paper complete the card sketch.  The final touch was of course adding glossy accents to the flowers.  Love the color combination.

Whimsical Petals!

Waffle Flowers blog has a May monthly color challenge with blues and greens.  I used Ranger distress inks to water color the flowers and a Stampin” Up green ink pad for the background greenery.  A paper doily,  accent green papers and a twine  bow finish the look.  The final touch was adding glossy accents to the painted flowers.

Beachy Themed Gift Bags for End of The School Year Thank You’s

I wanted to get started on designing a project  for special people for end of the school year gifts.  I will be teaching this class in June at Scrapbook Cove.  The Cove had great paper and I created two different gift bags with matching note cards.  The bags were super easy to make.  Great for other special occasions as well.  Happy shopping!

Triple Die Cut Sunflowers and Accent Banners!

A new weekly challenge for Lawnscaping blogspot that is all about water coloring.  So I pulled out my box of watercolor pencils, a Lawn Fawn stamp and die cut set and lots of paper scraps.  I looked for a interesting card sketch layout and set to work!  A little tag and a glossy tiny heart accent completes the card.  I love it!

Old Favorites from the Stamp Box!

I like to revisit stamp sets that are classics and have a great message.  These cards are from a 2006 Stampin’ Up Collection.  I used Stazon black ink, water color paper  and Twinkling H2O paints to paint the image and background.  The final step was adding-of course-glitter glue accents.  Great cards to have ready for any occasion.

Be Awesome Everyday Card!

I used my new “challenge winner” stamp set from #waffleflowers names In Every Way to create a card for the next color challenge for May.  I used the flower outline stamps to stamp and emboss on watercolor paper and then painted the inside with my favorite #twinklingh2o paints.  I love the stamp set.  There is still time before the challenge closes, so I will try another card so submit. A color challenge requires different kind of planning so  I will keep working on another layout.Image
