I have been on a search for a new set of flower stamps and found this awesome from Simon Says Stamp called Sketch Ranunculus. I love these flowers and to find a set that was named this was awesome. I stamped the images in Versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder on water color paper. I then colored the flowers, stems and leaves using Peerless watercolor paint swatches. I added the die cut word from Simon Says Stamp and word banner. I added liquid pearl accents to complete the layout. I then stamped and colored a few more in different color combinations.

Happy Anniversary Wishes!
Seems like I have been on a watercoloring technique focus. I used the new flower set from My Favorite Things again. I painted the flowers with Gelatos and Twinkling H2O’s. I die cut the Happy word from Hero Arts and then added glossy accents when I attached it to the card. I stamped the anniversary below the die cut. A twine accent ribbon was tied to the bottom of the card. Ready for the mail in a few days.
Pretty in Pink New Baby Card
It has been awhile since I made a card for a new baby which of course is such a happy occasion. I used this Magenta stamp for many different cards but wanted to create something a bit different since the last time I used it. I used Tombow markers to color the individual images. Then I added some glitter glue accents and glossy accents to make things pop. I like to combine a variety of different patterned papers and is a great way to use up all those small pieces left from other paper projects. After posting this card on Instagram, I got a request from a follower to make one for her as well!
A Garden of Flowers!
I ordered a few new acrylic cling stamp sets last week. I have wanted to try a bit more watercoloring with flowers and of course, I just had to buy a few more sets. I added several different versions to my “board” on Pinterest. Here is my first try and will continue to try different paints and layouts to create other card sketches. A work in progress!
