Here is my submission for the February #Altenew Challenge  color challenge.  I watercolored the stamped image using Zig markers, then fussy cut, shaped the leaves, glossy accented them.  A few paper banners, gold thread, a paper doily inked resist background finish the card layout.

Sending Valentine cards for happy mail is one of my favorite  things to make and send.  I created these cards using Peerless water color sheets in shades of pink and purple.  A wash of water and then a splash of paint, moving the paper created the background.  The hearts were painted the same way and then die cut using My Favorite Things hearts.  I added textured embossing powder using Versamark ink.  The die cut hugs and and kisses word were from Simon Says stamps. A few Nuvo drops and a strip of Washi tape add a contrast.  I also created a spray accent with Pearl Ex powder and water. Adds a bit of sparkle.
