Take Notes Clipboard!

My new favorite paper is from Dare2BArtzy and have used it recently for a summer/beach themed craft class at Scrapbook Cove. I designed six cards using the lighthouse, flip flops, mason jar drink, etc.  I was working on a project for a Friday night August make and take and had some colorful paper that I used to cover both sides of the clipboard.  I add some accent paper strips and cut outs to both sides of the clipboard and tied on some colorful coordinating ribbons.  Love the vibrant green leaves paper on the front and the beautiful navy pattern on the back.  Time to post for the Dare2BArtzy challenge for bright colors.

Birthday Greetings with Flower Accents!

One of my new favorite stamps are the Art Gone Wild stamps designed by Catherine Scanlon.  I have been delving into the world of watercoloring and her stamps are perfect for painting and coloring.  I used a new set I purchased last week at my favorite stamp store Bella Arts, Johnston, RI.  I was inspired by the Always Playing with Paper blog post challenge- Key words #88 to use either flowers, bright, watercolor, birthday and or square shape.  I used an old favorite bday sentiment stamp inside the square cutout, painted the flowers and leaves using Zig watercolor markers.  I lightly stenciled the background with an Aletnew circle stencil.  A twine bundle, some glitter accents and a bit of foam tape complete the card layout. I know the perfect person to send this to.
