MY FLOWER POWER THEMED CARD

This Altenew themed Instagram also included uploading a short Video Reel. The Reel is posted on my Instagram page highlighting the process I used to create the card. For this card I used the Altenew Whimisical Garden Layering Die Set. This set includes lots of coordinating and layering dies- flowers, stems and leaves. The only stamping I used was for the stamped and embossed sentiment label from another Altenew Sentiment stamp set.

PHOTOS, DIRECTIONS AND SUPPLIES

For this layout I used a Floating Frame technique, it is hard to see it in the photo. The paper strip uses paper from the Altenew Sea Shore Gradient Cardstock Set adhered to a clear acetate sheet using foam strips to make the strip look like it is floating about the dotted background.

For the layered flower stem I used the two coordinating die pieces from the Altenew Whimisical Garden Layering Die set and white cardstock and adhering it to the floating gradient colored paper piece. One die was the background piece and the second die piece is the outline of the flower stem. This set has lots of layered dies- leaves, and a variety of accent sprigs.

Two other samples with some other card layouts to find the one I liked the best.

This is the final card. I added a detailed debossing plate from Altenew Dotted Tile Debossing Cover die for the background, Altenew silver thread, Altenew embossing ink, pure white crisp embossing powder. Altenew sentiment strip on black cardstock for the word strip.
