I have been experimenting with watercoloring and rediscovered a pad of Peerless watercolors.  I wanted to create a soft background and my project seemed to match the challenge from the #Global Design Project  #GDP031.   The soft pink watercolored butterfly was die cut for the top layer and I added several other die cut pieces underneath.  I stapled all of the butterfly pieces together to add movement and folded the wings up.  I added the pieces to a canvas board that I covered and painted.  The last touch was the printed word banner Spread Your Wings!  I also created a few more using different watercolored butterflies.
