CAROLINA ALL SPICE LAYERING DIE SET
This layering die set creates an awesome an flower using layered die cut pieces. Here is my completed card. I love the way it came out. I inked a piece of white cardstock using Altenew set of yellow ink cubes to create a gradient of colors starting with the lightest color from the ink set. I inked white paper using another Altenew ink cube set for gradient green ink to die cut the leaf pieces. I also used a mini paper pad of gradient green card stock from Altenew for a few of the leaves. I used the direction guide to layer the pieces to create the flower. For the smallest and last piece of the flower layout, I colored the white paper with a Copic marker. I did the same steps to create the three leaves. I used the Altenew Burlap Texture Die for the background. I inked white card stock using a blue ink cube from Altenew that I used for the Burlap Die. I kept some of the die cut squares in place for additional accents. For the Thanks die cut word from the set I used glossy black paper for the top layer and two more layers from black cardstock. Great tip to create a layered die cut word. All of the pieces of the card- the layered flowerd, burlap die and thanks word were all die cuts from the Altenew collection. A stunning card and so versatile .

The yellow flower is so appealing.
I love Yellow and Blue together and your design is fresh and lovely.
This is perhaps my favorite on the whole hop! I love the subtlety of the color range in the yellows — some of the others hurt my eyeballs! This really gives them a place to rest.
Wow! Thanks so much! Sometimes less is more. I love the warm yellow colors too! Many thanks!
Beautiful card! The Burlap Texture die is such a wonderful backdrop for that gorgeous yellow bloom!
Thanks so much. I like the die fir the background too. Thanks!
Lovely card. And having the card mostly in yellow, shows the versatility of the flower die. No need to worry about finding a color combination or not having enough supplies. The light blue background die looks beautiful and delicate behind the flower.
